Civil Wedding Ceremonies

AS LAVISH OR REFINED AS YOU WISH

Planning and arranging Civil weddings here on Rhodes is where it all started for us. We are able to help you organise your Civil wedding ceremony in a wide variety of locations throughout the island. With a wide variety of venue choices, from the very pretty and perennially popular chapel in St Paul’s Bay, the stunning Kallithea Spa right through to the wonderful Melenos Lindos hotel, we are happy to arrange your ceremony at any venue you choose to consider.

Ceremonies are conducted in both Greek and English by an appointed representative of the local Mayor and last an average of 5-10 minutes in their most basic form. However you may decide to personalise yours with the addition of a few well chosen words or a poem etc, a beautiful idea which comes highly recommended and serves to extend the rather short, standard ceremony. The ceremony can be further personalised by the inclusion of any of our long list of optional extra services, ensuring your day is truly unique to you.

Civil ceremonies held in Rhodes are recognised as legal throughout the World. We will help ensure that the correct documentation is gathered together and presented within plenty of time, assisting you as you navigate the sometimes confusing but necessary processes required to obtain your paper-work and deal with any of the questions you are sure to have.

Civil ceremonies are generally held each day of the week, although certain venues are unavailable at week-ends and on some religious holidays. Early booking for some of the more popular venues is strongly recommended. Couples booking their wedding at St Paul’s Bay are allowed around 30 minutes at the chapel, within a 45 minute window. This is to allow for a sufficient period of time to elapse in order to minimise the possibility of encountering another wedding party at busier times of the year.

All chapel ceremonies are held in the chapel courtyards.
